Cal Governador

Cal Governador is a noble house from the early 18th Century, located at the small village of Borrassà, only 6 kms away from Figueres, worldknown to host Dali's Museum. This magnificent building is located at the small village of Borrassà. It originally belonged to the Coll family and one of the descendants became the first Civil Governor in Girona. Hence its present name ("Governador" means Governor in Catalan).

Charming sceneries

At Cal Governador the guests have plenty of beautiful and peaceful places to relax and read a good book, have an interesting conversation or simply enjoy doing nothing. From the wonderful porch gallery, the small centenary pine forest or the garden, surrounded by palm and citrus trees under which one can have a placid "siesta" on a sun lounger. There are also spaces for activities such as board games and a variety of books to read in the living room, or the swimming-pool (without a life guard) that is filled in with the well water that flows beneath the 5.000 square meters property.
